Dr. Michael L. Winzenread earned his Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medical Studies and English Literature from the University of Oklahoma. He later received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1975.

With over four decades of medical experience, he has treated adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and has provided professional medical opinions in numerous legal and medical evaluation cases.

Dr. Winzenread has worked as an expert medical witness since 1986, contributing medical expertise in criminal, civil, and workers’ compensation cases for both plaintiffs and defendants.

He also serves as a designated Civil Surgeon for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), conducting medical examinations required for individuals applying for immigration benefits such as green cards or citizenship..
